Join The Wilson House of East Dorset for an afternoon exploring the early life and contributions of Bill Wilson, co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous. Called “the greatest social architect of our century” by Aldous Huxley, and named one of the Time 100 List of The Most Important People of the 20th Century by Time magazine, Wilson was born in East Dorset and spent his formative years in our region. Spend the afternoon visiting sites like Emerald Lake, Burr & Burton Academy, Ekwanok Country Club, among others, as you learn about the events and life of Bill Wilson. You will be guided by two historians of AA history, and your visit will conclude with luncheon at The Wilson House. Saturday, July 20, 2019 – 10 AM to 1 PM.
