Calling all Bikers! Rev up your motorcycle or strap onto your pedals and come support the historic birthplace and childhood home of Bill Wilson.
Each year The Wilson House welcomes people home from all over the USA and world. Bill’s house has become a place we ‘come home to.’
During the summer and fall months in East Dorset, VT, the streets are alive with the sight and sound of bikes. Folks coming to spend a day or night, take in a meeting, attend our famous Friday Night Supper, or just to visit the house and gravesite to express gratitude for the lives of Bill and Lois.
Please support TWH by participating in the first ever Wheels for Wilson House. You can ride solo, with a group or with a friend on motorcycle or bike (anything with wheels!) The hope is you will ride to and for The Wilson House.
We look forward to welcoming you home.
Here’s how it works. Think about riding 24 hours individually or as a group (between June and October) to support The Wilson House at $.50 per mile. At $.50 per mile, this is how it adds up:
Mile ride $50
500 Mile ride $250
1000 Mile ride $500
1500 Mile ride $750
2400 Mile ride $1200
You get it … Each 100 miles represents 1 hour of each day!
We are the “One Day at a Time” people and we can do this!
Whether you ride 100 miles or 2400 miles – every mile and every dollar pledged counts!
Keep it simple. Take a picture of your odometer, share the sights along your ride and tag The Wilson House – Wheels4Wilson on Facebook.
Calculate your donation – and round it up if you want to.
Write your check payable to The Wilson House or make your donation via PayPal.
